SUMMARY:Sharana Samskruthi Utsava
DESCRIPTION:The Sharana Samskruthi Utsava\, also associated with the Dasara celebrations of Central Karnataka\, is a major cultural event in Chitradurga. \nThe festival showcases the region’s literature\, music\, dance\, folk traditions and spiritual heritage. Programmes bring together artists\, scholars\, cultural groups and members of the public. \nThe festival generally extends over several days and is particularly significant because it connects the traditions of the Sharana movement with contemporary cultural activities. A publication from S.J.M. Vidyapeetha describes it as a significant Central Karnataka cultural event and notes its association with Dasara Mahotsava.
