District Police Strengthen Crime Prevention Measures

Chitradurga district police have continued efforts to strengthen crime prevention and tackle drug-related activities.

Police reported that overall crime and accident numbers declined in 2025 compared with the previous three years, while enforcement measures against drug use and drug dealers were also strengthened. A “Drug Free” application was among the initiatives mentioned by police.

The district police administration continues to encourage residents to report suspicious activities and use emergency services when necessary.

The official district administration lists 112 as the National Emergency Helpline, 100 for Police, 108 for Ambulance and 1930 for Cyber Crime.
