Karnataka Rajyotsava Celebrations

Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrates the formation of Karnataka and is observed enthusiastically across Chitradurga district. The celebrations generally include Kannada flag hoisting, cultural programmes, processions, tableaux, speeches and traditional performances. Chitradurga's 2025 Rajyotsava celebrations featured a procession with a portrait of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari, departmental tableaux and a Lambani dance performance.
