Karnataka’s expanded cabinet has created fresh political discussions across the state, including among leaders and supporters from Chitradurga district.
The cabinet expansion involved 19 Congress MLAs taking oath as ministers, bringing changes to the political balance within the ruling party.
The development also became relevant to Chitradurga politics after senior Molakalmuru MLA N. Y. Gopalakrishna expressed dissatisfaction after reportedly being overlooked for a ministerial position. His subsequent comments about Molakalmuru’s development generated additional political debate.
