Watershed development is playing an important role in improving water management in Chitradurga’s agricultural areas.
Government watershed records show projects under the Watershed Development Component of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (WDC-PMKSY) in the district.
The programme supports measures aimed at improving soil and water conservation, protecting agricultural land and increasing the availability of water for farming.
